Jessica L. Baity

Jessica Lauren Baity was born to Derrick and Bernadette Baity on July 21, 1995, in San Jose, CA. As a very outspoken and big-hearted child, servant leadership was an inevitably forecasted to be a major part of her future. As a teenager, Jessica maintained an excellent standard in academics, while participating in different extracurricular activities including hospitality and tourism courses, volleyball, and basketball. As the youngest member, she was appointed director for the youth choir at Light of the World Apostolic church. Through that ministry’s missionary efforts overseas in South Pacific countries including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and others; Jess, was given the opportunity to teach and director choirs of 300 hundred voices along with her younger brother and musical prodigy Stephen.

In 2013, Jessica graduated from Oak Grove High School and attended Pepperdine University. She was one of about 500 accepted of the over 10,000 applicants, the largest pool of applicants the school had ever experienced. Unfortunately, after one successful year at Pepperdine, Jessica was unable to return during her sophomore year due to a $20,000 balance. Determined to be a woman of integrity and honor, Jess got a job and started her own meal preparation and baking business (Personal Favor) and worked tirelessly to repay her debt. During this year, Jessica desired to assist her parents in manifesting their vision of creating a platform that provides solutions for families and communities that face systemic challenges. As a family, the Baity’s established and incorporated FAME (aka Family and Ministry Enrichment and Empowerment Network, Inc.), a non-profit organization that hosts a myriad of services that promote the pursuit of generational success in all of life. After almost two years of her educational hiatus, Jessica continued her education at San Diego Christian College where she graduated Magnum Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Inspired to be the best she can be, Jessica decided to further her education at Point Loma Nazarene University, enrolling in the 12-month accelerated program and graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2019. Ministry has always been just as important as her educational goals, so while pursuing her degrees, Jess served faithfully at Total Deliverance Worship Center as the Minister of Music, as well as a youth bible study instructor.

Currently, Jessica has relocated to Los Angeles, California where she now is serving as the Minister of Music for Bethesda Apostolic Faith Temple Church under the leadership of fellow FAME Board Member Pastor Kyron Shorter. Professionally, she is working as a business development coordinator for Systems Services International; helping her father expand his business into new markets. Additionally, she is enhancing the reach of the nonprofit, and achieving FAME’s mission to “<enrich> communities by touching and empowering one family at a time.”
